The highly trained experts and welcoming support staff at Aligndent Grove House are committed to delivering an exceptional standard of service.
Dr Anthony Lam is an internationally recognised Specialist Orthodontist. He is a former clinical teacher in Orthodontics at Guy’s Hospital, London, and a member of a number of local and international Orthodontic Societies.

He qualified as a dentist at the University of Melbourne and then gained an MSc in Orthodontics at the University of London. He was awarded the Professor Philip Walther Prize for outstanding performance as part of his MSc and obtained membership of The Royal College of Surgeons upon qualification. Since then, he has worked in private orthodontic practices in the South East region.
His main areas of interest are invisible cosmetic orthodontic braces including the Incognito Lingual appliances, Invisalign, Ceramic and Damon System appliances.
He is a Diamond Apex Invisalign Provider and was invited to treat the winner of the UK wide competition “Invisalign Changed my Life”. With his knowledge and experience, we are able to truly tailor your treatment, quickly and discreetly.
Mandana is an enthusiastic professional in the field of Orthodontics whose journey has taken her from the vibrant educational landscapes of India and the UAE to the prestigious Barts and London Hospital at Queen Mary University.

Nive qualified as a dentist from University of Malaya in 2005 and she completed her Specialist Orthodontic Training at Guy’s Hospital in London in 2013.

Nive worked in Malaysia for the past 10 years providing orthodontic services, managing from simple to complex cases that needed a multidisciplinary approach (orthognathic, cleft palate, facial deformity).
Her main area of interest is in Temporary Anchorage Devices to tackle difficult cases. She obtained her License In Dental Surgery in 2019 in order to be able to work in the UK.
In her spare time she likes to go hiking.
Dr Haniyeh Moaven graduated in dentistry from Shahid Beheshti Medical University, Tehran, Iran in 2016 and after moving to the UK completed a 3-years full time training programme and got her Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Periodontology from Queen Mary University of London in 2021.

She has also received a Diploma for the Membership in Periodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in the same year.
Dr Moaven believes in a combination of the art of daily clinical performance with science and research. She is very passionate about teaching and enjoys teaching Periodontology to undergraduate students at Guy’s Hospital.
Furqan registered as an orthodontic therapist in November 2021. Furqan is a very growth-oriented and gentle clinician and ensures the patient’s comfort during treatment. He has always been passionate about practising state-of-the-art orthodontics and aims to provide his patients with the best possible care.
Kayleigh qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2011, since working at Grove House Orthodontics she has gained her certificates in Impression taking, Dental Radiography and Orthodontic Nursing. Kayleigh then trained at the University of Warwick gaining her Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy in September 2020. Kayleigh works alongside the Specialist Orthodontics working under prescription.
Natasha qualified as a Dental Nurse in 1998, and gained her certificates in Dental Radiography, Oral Health Education and Orthodontic Nursing. Natasha then trained at the University of Warwick gaining her Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy in 2012. Natasha works at the Smile Dartford practice under the prescription of a Specialist Orthodontist.
Louise qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2019 and since working for Grove House Orthodontics, has gained qualifications in Radiography, Oral Health Education and Impression taking. Louise completed her diploma in Orthodontic Dental Nursing in March 2023 at Kings College Hospital and has now embarked on her journey to becoming an Orthodontic Therapist.
Ella is our Head Dental Nurse in charge with our nursing team. She has chosen this career after having orthodontic treatment herself and wanting to help patients through their orthodontic journey.
Megan qualified as a dental nurse in 2017, since starting work at Grove House Orthodontics in 2021 Megan has gained her certification in Dental Radiography and is enrolled on the Oral Health Education course.
Kelsey is one of our fantastic dental nurses. She joined us in June of 2022 as a receptionist and soon developed an interest in orthodontics and wanted to learn more. She has recently obtained her Level 3 Dental Nursing Diploma.
Brook is one of our newest member of the nursing team.
Marcia maintains a safe and hygienic environment for both patients and staff. Decontamination is a critical aspect of infection control in dental settings.
Matthew qualified as a dental technician at Lambeth college (Clapham) in June 2016. He has previously worked in prosthetics and crowns and bridges before joining Grove House Orthodontics. He currently makes all orthodontic appliances in the on-site laboratory including retainers, sports mouthguards and removable appliances for the surgery.
Karyn started her career in dentistry as a receptionist in 2008, then finding an interest in orthodontics she qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2011 with the aim to be an Orthodontic Therapist, her career path changed to practice management when the practice (formerly named Grove House Orthodontics) opened in 2013.
Sarita joined us in December 2020. Sarita did her Foundation Degree in dental nursing (FdSc) and qualified as a dental nurse from the University of Northampton in 2017. While she has worked with us Sarita has gained a qualification in indices training and hopes to further her education within the dentistry field.
Sarita enjoys helping patients with their orthodontic journey and loves to see their confidence increase as their treatment progresses.
